Por determina\u00e7\u00e3o do presidente da Rep\u00fablica, Luiz In\u00e1cio Lula da Silva (PT), caber\u00e1 ao jornalista Ricardo Cappelli, atual secret\u00e1rio-executivo do Minist\u00e9rio da Justi\u00e7a e Seguran\u00e7a P\u00fablica, responder, interinamente, pelo GSI (Gabinete de Seguran\u00e7a Institucional).
Cappelli foi escolhido por Lula ap\u00f3s a confirma\u00e7\u00e3o da demiss\u00e3o do ent\u00e3o ministro do GSI, Gon\u00e7alves Dias, que deixou o cargo ap\u00f3s o vazamento de imagens do circuito de seguran\u00e7a do Pal\u00e1cio do Planalto, onde Gon\u00e7alves Dias aparece durante invas\u00f5es golpistas de 8 de janeiro.
A op\u00e7\u00e3o por Cappelli se deu tamb\u00e9m pelo fato de que o atual secret\u00e1rio-executivo do GSI, Ricardo Jos\u00e9 Nigri, tamb\u00e9m ser\u00e1 demitido.
Vale lembrar que o ex-secret\u00e1rio de Comunica\u00e7\u00e3o do Maranh\u00e3o, Ricardo Cappelli, foi o interventor federal na Seguran\u00e7a P\u00fablica do Distrito Federal, durante 20 dias, ap\u00f3s os atos do dia 08 de janeiro.
