A C\u00e2mara de Vereadores de Porto Alegre (RS) promulgou uma lei que institui o 8 de Janeiro como \u201cDia Municipal do Patriota\u201d. A data \u00e9 a mesma em que o Congresso Nacional, o Pal\u00e1cio do Planalto e o Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF) foram invadidos.
A promulga\u00e7\u00e3o da lei foi assinada pelo presidente do Legislativo, Hamilton Sossmeier (PTB), em 10 de julho.
\u201cFica inclu\u00edda a efem\u00e9ride Dia Municipal do Patriota no Anexo da Lei n\u00ba 10.904, de 31 de maio de 2010 \u2013 Calend\u00e1rio de Datas Comemorativas e de Conscientiza\u00e7\u00e3o do Munic\u00edpio de Porto Alegre \u2013, e altera\u00e7\u00f5es posteriores, no dia 8 de janeiro\u201d, diz o documento.
A proposi\u00e7\u00e3o foi de autoria do ent\u00e3o vereador Alexandre Bobadra (PL) em 15 de mar\u00e7o.
Em nota, Sossmeier alegou que \u201cn\u00e3o cabe ao presidente fazer julgamento de valor desta ou daquela pauta ou projeto\u201d.
O parlamentar acrescentou que \u201cquando aprovado, e se houver silenciamento do prefeito, s\u00f3 cabe ao chefe do Legislativo promulg\u00e1-la\u201d.
A prefeitura de Porto Alegre informou em nota que \u201co prefeito Sebasti\u00e3o Melo silenciou respeitando a decis\u00e3o da C\u00e2mara Municipal\u201d.
