O MPMA \u2013 Minist\u00e9rio P\u00fablico do Maranh\u00e3o converteu a Not\u00edcia de Fato n\u00ba 001242-509\/2024 em Inqu\u00e9rito Civil para investigar poss\u00edveis irregularidades em obras realizadas no Bairro Cruzeiro do Anil, em S\u00e3o Lu\u00eds.
A decis\u00e3o, baseada no artigo 7\u00ba da Resolu\u00e7\u00e3o CNMP n\u00ba 174\/2017, visa apurar riscos de mobilidade e danos ao patrim\u00f4nio cultural decorrentes de altera\u00e7\u00f5es em vias p\u00fablicas no \u00e2mbito do Programa Tr\u00e2nsito Livre, promovido pela administra\u00e7\u00e3o municipal sob a gest\u00e3o do prefeito Eduardo Braide (PSD).
As obras, realizadas nas proximidades da Igreja de S\u00e3o Sebasti\u00e3o, t\u00eam sido alvo de severas cr\u00edticas por parte dos moradores. Eles alegam que as mudan\u00e7as nas vias p\u00fablicas n\u00e3o apenas dificultam a mobilidade na \u00e1rea, mas tamb\u00e9m amea\u00e7am o patrim\u00f4nio hist\u00f3rico e cultural da regi\u00e3o.
