Com o objetivo de apresentar propostas para solucionar o problema de centenas de fam\u00edlias ludovicenses, o candidato a prefeito Wellington do Curso esteve em importante reuni\u00e3o na comunidade Jap\u00e3o, localizado no Ipase de Baixo. A reuni\u00e3o contou com a presen\u00e7a de Lahesio Bonfim, conhecido por ter garantido a moradia de centenas de pessoas na cidade em que foi prefeito, no munic\u00edpio de S\u00e3o Pedro dos Crentes.
Na ocasi\u00e3o, Wellington disse que um de seus compromissos de campanha \u00e9 acabar com as palafitas em mangues na capital maranhense.
\u201cMoradia \u00e9 um direito e quando a gente v\u00ea a realidade dessas fam\u00edlias, a gente comprova uma S\u00e3o Lu\u00eds que n\u00e3o aparece na propaganda. S\u00e3o dezenas de pessoas que moram em palafitas em cima de mangues e s\u00e3o invis\u00edveis. Como prefeito, vou dar aten\u00e7\u00e3o e garantir que tenham uma casa digna. \u00c9 poss\u00edvel! Agrade\u00e7o ao Lahesio, que construiu dezenas de casas no munic\u00edpio em que foi prefeito, pelos ensinamentos.
