Em sess\u00e3o extraordin\u00e1ria realizada na tarde desta quinta-feira (06), o vereador Raimundo Penha defendeu e votou a favor do Projeto de Lei do Executivo que trata do reajuste de 6,5% dos vencimentos dos professores da rede municipal de ensino de S\u00e3o Lu\u00eds.

Ao justificar seu voto, o parlamentar tamb\u00e9m cobrou investimentos na infraestrutura das escolas municipais, o que ele tem defendido nos \u00faltimos quatro anos.

\u201cRetomamos os trabalhos legislativos com vota\u00e7\u00e3o de mat\u00e9rias importantes, como a lei or\u00e7ament\u00e1ria do munic\u00edpio para 2025, e a aprecia\u00e7\u00e3o de 15 vetos do prefeito que trancavam a pauta, para que hoje pud\u00e9ssemos votar o merecido reajuste dos vencimentos dos professores e professoras. Mas essa \u00e9 uma pauta que n\u00e3o se esgota em melhoria salarial. \u00c9 preciso que haja tamb\u00e9m investimento na estrutura f\u00edsica das escolas\u201d, declarou Raimundo Penha, da tribuna da C\u00e2mara de S\u00e3o Lu\u00eds.

Citando como exemplo a UEB Ana L\u00facia Chaves Fecury, no S\u00e3o Bernardo, Raimundo Penha ressaltou que in\u00fameras escolas municipais ainda n\u00e3o receberam as melhorias necess\u00e1rias para proporcionar melhores condi\u00e7\u00f5es de ensino e aprendizagem para docentes e alunos. O vereador conhece de perto essa realidade, pelas in\u00fameras vistorias que realizou em unidades escolares, e das reuni\u00f5es em que reivindicou esses investimentos da Secretaria Municipal de Educa\u00e7\u00e3o.
\u201cH\u00e1 dois anos h\u00e1 cerca de R$ 180 milh\u00f5es do Fundef, repassados pelo Governo Federal para os cofres da Prefeitura de S\u00e3o Lu\u00eds, que deveriam ter sido investidos em obras nas escolas municipais. Al\u00e9m disso, o Munic\u00edpio tem tido super\u00e1vit de arrecada\u00e7\u00e3o superior a 20%.
