O deputado estadual Wellington do Curso esteve em visita, na manha desta sexta-feira (04) ao tenente-coronel Duque, comandante do 24\u00ba Batalh\u00e3o de Infantaria de Selva (24\u00ba BIS). Na oportunidade o parlamentar se colocou a disposi\u00e7\u00e3o do comandante, bem como apresentou sugest\u00f5es e pautas a serem desenvolvidas no Maranh\u00e3o, com o apoio do parlamento estadual e parceria com o Ex\u00e9rcito Brasileiro.

A finalidade da visita \u00e9 apresentar demandas da sociedade maranhenses ao comandante e ajudar no planejamento e a\u00e7\u00f5es sociais que podem ser desenvolvidas e executaras em parceria com a Assembleia Legislativa.

\u201cFui militar durante 15 anos e durante 10 anos estive a servi\u00e7o da intelig\u00eancia militar. E praticamente, todo meu tempo de caserna foi no 24\u00ba Batalh\u00e3o de Infantaria de Selva. Tenho respeito, carinho e muitos amigos que continuam na atividade militar. O objetivo da nossa visita ao Comandante do Ex\u00e9rcito \u00e9 colocar o nosso mandato a disposi\u00e7\u00e3o e planejar, definir as a\u00e7\u00f5es sociais em parceria com a Assembleia Legislativa. \u00c9 muito importante a aproxima\u00e7\u00e3o das For\u00e7as Armadas com a popula\u00e7\u00e3o. Aproveito pra agradecer a receptividade do Tenente Coronel Duque e externar meus cumprimentos ao General de Brigada Roberval Almeida, que foi meu comandante quando serviu no 24\u00ba BIS, como tenente na \u00e9poca.
