O prefeito de Igarap\u00e9 Grande, Jo\u00e3o Victor Xavier (PDT) se entregou \u00e0 pol\u00edcia nesta ter\u00e7a-feira, 15, ap\u00f3s ter a pris\u00e3o preventiva decretada pelo juiz Luiz Em\u00edlio Bra\u00fana Bittencourt J\u00fanior, da 2\u00aa Vara de Pedreiras. Ele, que \u00e9 acusado de assassinar o policial militar Geidson Thiago da Silva dos Santos a tiros durante a 35\u00aa Vaquejada do Parque Marat\u00e1, no dia 6 de julho, em Trizidela do Vale, interior do Maranh\u00e3o, se apresentou na sede da Delegacia Geral de Pol\u00edcia Civil.
Na decis\u00e3o, assinada ontem ,14, o magistrado fundamentou a medida na garantia da ordem p\u00fablica, conforme o artigo 312 do C\u00f3digo de Processo Penal. A Justi\u00e7a tamb\u00e9m autorizou mandados de busca e apreens\u00e3o na casa de Jo\u00e3o Victor e tamb\u00e9m no gabinete oficial da Prefeitura de Igarap\u00e9 Grande. Mas o prefeito ainda n\u00e3o tinha sido localizado.
As dilig\u00eancias tiveram como objetivo a apreens\u00e3o da arma de fogo supostamente utilizada no crime, al\u00e9m de computadores, celulares e quaisquer materiais que possam contribuir para a investiga\u00e7\u00e3o.
