A Justi\u00e7a do Maranh\u00e3o determinou que nove servidores da Prefeitura de Imperatriz, devolvam mais de R$ 1 milh\u00e3o aos cofres p\u00fablicos.
Os funcion\u00e1rios s\u00e3o acusados de receber sal\u00e1rios sem comparecer ao local de trabalho, configurando a pr\u00e1tica de servidores fantasmas.
A decis\u00e3o foi proferida pela 1\u00aa Vara da Fazenda P\u00fablica de Imperatriz e atende a duas a\u00e7\u00f5es ajuizadas pelo Minist\u00e9rio P\u00fablico do Maranh\u00e3o (MP-MA) em 2024.
Segundo as investiga\u00e7\u00f5es, os servidores preenchiam e assinavam de uma s\u00f3 vez os livros de ponto, numa tentativa de burlar o controle de frequ\u00eancia da prefeitura. A pr\u00e1tica causou preju\u00edzos significativos ao er\u00e1rio municipal.
Al\u00e9m da devolu\u00e7\u00e3o integral dos sal\u00e1rios recebidos indevidamente, a Justi\u00e7a determinou o bloqueio dos bens dos acusados como forma de garantir o ressarcimento dos valores. Os servidores t\u00eam prazo de 15 dias para apresentar contesta\u00e7\u00e3o.
Em nota, o ex-prefeito Assis Ramos afirmou n\u00e3o ter sido citado na decis\u00e3o, mas ressaltou que o munic\u00edpio contava com cerca de 15 mil servidores \u00e0 \u00e9poca de sua gest\u00e3o.
