Deputado alerta que o Maranh\u00e3o chega \u00e0 COP30 como o estado que mais desmata no Brasil e o \u00faltimo no ranking nacional de sustentabilidade<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Durante pronunciamento na Assembleia Legislativa, nesta quarta-feira (12), o deputado estadual Carlos Lula (PSB) fez um duro alerta sobre a situa\u00e7\u00e3o ambiental do Maranh\u00e3o, que chega \u00e0 COP30, em Bel\u00e9m (PA), com o pior \u00edndice de sustentabilidade ambiental do pa\u00eds, segundo o ranking do Centro de Lideran\u00e7a P\u00fablica (CLP). O parlamentar cobrou do Governo do Estado a implementa\u00e7\u00e3o imediata da Lei n\u00ba 12.301\/2024, de sua autoria, que institui a Pol\u00edtica Estadual de Enfrentamento das Mudan\u00e7as Clim\u00e1ticas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cO Maranh\u00e3o chega \u00e0 COP30 com um alerta que n\u00e3o pode ser ignorado. Somos, hoje, o estado que mais desmata no Brasil. E, ao mesmo tempo, o \u00faltimo colocado no ranking de sustentabilidade ambiental do CLP\u201d, destacou Carlos Lula.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A lei, considerada uma das mais avan\u00e7adas do pa\u00eds, prev\u00ea metas de neutraliza\u00e7\u00e3o de carbono at\u00e9 2050, incentivos \u00e0 energia limpa, pagamento por servi\u00e7os ambientais, e a cria\u00e7\u00e3o do F\u00f3rum Maranhense de Mudan\u00e7as do Clima. No entanto, mais de um ano ap\u00f3s sua san\u00e7\u00e3o, nenhum desses instrumentos foi colocado em pr\u00e1tica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNenhuma lei, por melhor que seja, se sustenta sem execu\u00e7\u00e3o e sem vontade pol\u00edtica. Desde a sua san\u00e7\u00e3o, a Lei n\u00ba 12.301 n\u00e3o foi implementada. O F\u00f3rum Maranhense de Mudan\u00e7as do Clima n\u00e3o foi criado. Nenhum plano setorial foi elaborado. Nenhum instrumento foi regulamentado\u201d, afirmou o deputado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Carlos Lula criticou a aus\u00eancia de protagonismo do Maranh\u00e3o em um momento em que l\u00edderes globais debatem a crise clim\u00e1tica na COP30. Para ele, o governo desperdi\u00e7a uma oportunidade hist\u00f3rica de reposicionar o estado no cen\u00e1rio ambiental e econ\u00f4mico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cA COP30 \u00e9 o momento de o Maranh\u00e3o se colocar no mapa da sustentabilidade. Temos base legal, potencial natural e capital humano. Falta transformar norma em pol\u00edtica p\u00fablica efetiva, relat\u00f3rio em investimento, ranking em rea\u00e7\u00e3o\u201d, disse Lula.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
O parlamentar tamb\u00e9m ressaltou que o desmatamento em expans\u00e3o n\u00e3o \u00e9 apenas uma amea\u00e7a ambiental, mas tamb\u00e9m um problema econ\u00f4mico e social, que afeta comunidades tradicionais, agrava as mudan\u00e7as clim\u00e1ticas e compromete a imagem do estado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cO tempo da omiss\u00e3o acabou. N\u00e3o podemos mais aceitar que o Maranh\u00e3o continue desmatando o futuro. Est\u00e1 nas nossas m\u00e3os fazer do Maranh\u00e3o uma refer\u00eancia, n\u00e3o pela destrui\u00e7\u00e3o, mas pela coragem de reconstruir\u201d, finalizou o deputado Carlos Lula.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Maranh\u00e3o lidera desmatamento em 2025<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\nDe acordo com dados recentes do MapBiomas e do CLP, o Maranh\u00e3o lidera o ranking nacional de desmatamento e ocupa a 27\u00aa posi\u00e7\u00e3o (\u00faltimo lugar) em sustentabilidade ambiental, seguido por Piau\u00ed (26\u00ba) e Tocantins (25\u00ba).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
