O programa Fant\u00e1stico, da TV Globo, repercutiu na sua edi\u00e7\u00e3o da noite deste \u00faltimo domingo, 4, um esquema criminoso descoberto recentemente que envolve pol\u00edticos maranhenses do munic\u00edpio de Turil\u00e2ndia, distante cerca de 200 km da capital S\u00e3o Lu\u00eds.
O prefeito Paulo Curi\u00f3; a vice-prefeita T\u00e2nya Mendes; e os onze vereadores da cidade foram afastados de suas fun\u00e7\u00f5es por determina\u00e7\u00e3o da Justi\u00e7a acusados, de acordo com investiga\u00e7\u00e3o do Minist\u00e9rio P\u00fablico, de integrarem quadrilha que desviou cerca de R$ 56 milh\u00f5es dos cofres p\u00fablicos nos \u00faltimos cinco anos.
O prefeito e a vice permanecem detidos na Penitenci\u00e1ria de Pedrinhas, na zona rural da capital, assim como seus c\u00f4njuges, Eva Curi\u00f3, primeira-dama e pr\u00e9-candidata a deputada estadual; e Ilan Alfredo Menezes, respectivamente, tamb\u00e9m acusados de participa\u00e7\u00e3o no esquema.
Os parlamentares cumprem pris\u00e3o domiciliar e o munic\u00edpio \u00e9 comandado interinamente pelo presidente da C\u00e2mara Municipal, vereador Jos\u00e9 Lu\u00eds Ara\u00fajo Diniz.
A ex vice-prefeita Janaina Soares Lima e o seu marido, Marlon de Jesus Arouche Serr\u00e3o, tamb\u00e9m est\u00e3o presos e s\u00e3o apontados como donos de uma das empresas beneficiadas com R$ 17 milh\u00f5es.
O ex-contador da Prefeitura, Wandson Jonath Barros, tamb\u00e9m est\u00e1 detido.
As pris\u00f5es ocorreram no bojo da Opera\u00e7\u00e3o T\u00e2ntalo II, Grupo de Atua\u00e7\u00e3o Especial de Combate ao Crime Organizado (Gaeco), do Minist\u00e9rio P\u00fablico do Maranh\u00e3o, com o cumprimento de 51 mandados de busca e apreens\u00e3o e 21 mandados de pris\u00e3o.
Em um \u00fanico alvo, em S\u00e3o Lu\u00eds, foram apreendidos quase R$ 5 milh\u00f5es.
As ordens foram expedidas pela 3\u00aa C\u00e2mara Criminal do Tribunal de Justi\u00e7a do Estado do Maranh\u00e3o, por decis\u00e3o da desembargadora Maria da Gra\u00e7a Peres Soares Amorim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
