A Pol\u00edcia Civil do Maranh\u00e3o deflagrou na manh\u00e3 desta quinta-feira (23) a Opera\u00e7\u00e3o Fio Cortado, mirando uma c\u00e9lula de organiza\u00e7\u00e3o criminosa com atua\u00e7\u00e3o no estado, tendo como alvos faccionados que atuavam tanto na capital quanto no interior do estado. A a\u00e7\u00e3o ocorreu simultaneamente na capital S\u00e3o Lu\u00eds e no munic\u00edpio de Chapadinha.
As investiga\u00e7\u00f5es apontam que os alvos dos mandados atuam especificamente no tr\u00e1fico de drogas e na movimenta\u00e7\u00e3o de altos valores financeiros de maneira organizada, inclusive com a participa\u00e7\u00e3o de um advogado, suspeito de atuar como mensageiro de ordens emitidas por um l\u00edder da fac\u00e7\u00e3o atualmente preso.
Durante a opera\u00e7\u00e3o, foram cumpridos cinco mandados de pris\u00e3o tempor\u00e1ria e outros cinco mandados de busca e apreens\u00e3o. Tamb\u00e9m houve bloqueio judicial de cerca de R$ 610 mil, al\u00e9m da apreens\u00e3o de ve\u00edculos e outros bens.
